The privacy policy applies to Verkehrsverbund Vorarlberg GmbH and its processors.

Personal data

Personal data includes information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address. It does not include data that cannot be directly linked to an individual person.

If, when purchasing a ticket, information relating to your physical/mental health or financial circumstances is transmitted to Verkehrsverbund Vorarlberg GmbH in order to take advantage of special offers, you hereby grant Verkehrsverbund Vorarlberg GmbH your express consent to process said data.

The data will be erased after the legal, statutory or contractual retention periods have expired. Data that does not need to be retained for legal or contractual reasons will be deleted once the stated purpose for which it was collected no longer applies. This applies in particular to data you send us via channels such as a contact form.

You can request information about the data about you stored by Verkehrsverbund Vorarlberg GmbH free of charge at any time. You may also exercise your right to rectify incorrect data and revoke your consent to data processing.

It may not be possible to fully erase your data for legal reasons, such as the need to keep accounting records for a legally defined period. In such cases, we can only erase the data once these retention periods have expired.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or if your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.

Our customers are served both by our own sales points (mobile points) and by sales points run by regional municipal associations/city buses. For the purpose of contract processing, the personal data stored by VVV will therefore also be made available to Landbus Unterland GmbH, Stadtwerke Bregenz GmbH, Regionalentwicklung Bregenzerwald, Stadtwerke Feldkirch and the partners responsible for renewal letters, printing and dispatching the ticket, and will be processed by them. All external service providers are also bound by the legal provisions.

Data will not generally be transmitted to other institutions, including state ones. However, should this happen in individual cases, it is solely for the purpose of safeguarding claims or to comply with applicable regulations.

When (voluntarily) choosing an add-on to the VMOBIL Klimaticket (called ‘mobility modules’), customer data are passed on to the relevant partner and processed by them.
